The number 7 is a deeply spiritual number and is consistently looking for the answers to life’s big questions. With a thirst for knowledge 7s are always on a quest to find the truth and as a result they take nothing at face value. A masculine number, the 7 is the loner of the group. It’s the introvert who can be considered eccentric and quirky because of its lack of interest in fitting in. The 7 is an intellectual and something of a dreamer because it is happiest when dealing with abstract concepts. It makes an excellent scientist, researcher or detective because it enjoys methodically working through the facts until it finds the answers it needs. It is non-conformist and will often find that an unusual tack will yield results.
While possessing a dry, if somewhat offbeat, sense of humour the 7 is never part of the in-crowd. It can be morose, and even morbid, and finds it difficult to socialise or make small talk. It despises gossip or office politics and as a result can be seen as aloof. This is because it is bored by anything it perceives as shallow and finds it hard to hide its disdain. Similarly a 7’s goals are never financial which means other, more materialistic, people find it tricky to understand what motivates it.

Appearance-wise the 7 tends to be lanky with a quirky dress sense. Fashion and sport don’t interest them at all as they are academics at heart. They are comfortable in their own skin and happy to spend time alone in pursuit of further knowledge. Clothes are a mere frippery on which they will not waste their precious time.
7s can often be know-it-alls and tend to be opinionated and blunt. They can appear condescending and have no tolerance for anyone they deem to be superficial. This lack of empathy can make them seen cold or cruel because they seemingly have no idea how their words and actions can hurt others. For this reason 7s are selfish, demanding and anti-social. Their cynicism can take others by surprise and can seem insensitive and arrogant. But this all stems from their innate desire to see beyond what lies on the surface.
THE SPIRITUALLY AWARE
The 7 is not fun or jovial and can be critical and argumentative. It is, however, a quick thinker and its determination and inner strength mean it will achieve results where others would have given up. It’s an inventor but some may dismiss it as a crackpot because its genius is often ahead of its time. Full of imagination, the 7’s mind is without doubt its greatest asset.
